
MASI closes up 0.17%, lifted by Managem's 3.9% gain
The MASI rose 0.17% to 18,052.57 points on June 29, while the MASI 20 fell 0.20% to 1,330.52 and the MASI ESG gained 0.76% to 1,278.01. Managem climbed 3.9% and helped push the benchmark into positive territory despite weaker gold prices, according to analyst reports, after the MASI had slipped 0.15% over the previous week and BCP had gained 2.8%. On the corporate front, OCP completed a 5 billion dirham hybrid bond issue, while Attijariwafa bank signed a memorandum with CHINCA to support Chinese investors in Africa, according to Africa News Agency and L'Economiste. TGCC won a contract worth nearly 903 million dirhams for the Marrakech stadium and is preparing a joint takeover of SAFETTRAS, according to Medias24 and InfoMaroc, while the AMMC wants to widen the trading limit for newly listed shares to 20% in their first days, Medias24 reported.
