
TUNINDEX rises 1.02%, lifted by banks and industrials
Tunisia’s TUNINDEX rose 1.02% to 18,930.16 points on June 23, while the TUNINDEX20 gained 1.05% to 8,373.02, lifted by banks up 1.34% and industrials up 0.94%, according to market data and a June 23 analyst note. Basic materials posted the strongest sector gain, rising 2.75% to 9,063.4 points, while TELNET HOLDING jumped 6%, according to the same market update. The move extended an industrial rebound seen on June 22, when the sector climbed 2.13% on gains in ICF and SOTRAPIL, according to an analyst report. On the corporate side, SOTUVER reported 2025 group net profit of 46 million dinars, up 10%, according to Tustex, while Assurances Maghrebia launched trading in its shares after a capital increase, webmanagercenter reported.

TUNINDEX slips 0.19% as SOTUVER tender offer opens at 13.390 dinars
The TUNINDEX fell 0.19% to 20,118.58 on August 6, while the TUNINDEX20 lost 0.28% to 8,852.03, with financial services down 1.21% leading the decline. Distribution and consumer services capped losses with gains of 1.27% each, while the industrials index dropped 0.66% and building and construction materials slipped 0.48%. On the stock side, Smart Tunisie jumped 6% on August 6, after Wifack International Bank rose 4.4% on August 5, according to market notes. Separately, the mandatory tender offer for SOTUVER at 13.390 dinars opened on August 5 and trading was suspended, reports Tustex, after Webmanagercenter said the deal organizes joint control between B.A Glass and the Bayahi group. Webmanagercenter added that SOTUVER’s H1 2026 results were reshaped by a 143% rise in the local olive oil market.
