
TUNINDEX falls 0.65% as basic materials outperform with 1.19% gain
The TUNINDEX fell 0.65% to 18,308.84 points on June 17, while the TUNINDEX20 lost 0.80% to 8,097.23 points. Basic materials rose 1.19% to 8,591.56 points, according to market data, while food and beverages dropped 1.08% to 18,860.08 points and banks fell 0.83% to 13,513.64 points. Assurances Maghrebia started listing its shares after a capital increase, according to Webmanagercenter. SOTUVER postponed its annual general meeting to July 7 and later set a new date for the AGM, according to Tustex and Leconomiste Maghrebin.

TUNINDEX slips 0.22% as Sotuver and Poulina drive earnings focus
The TUNINDEX fell 0.22% to 18,429.32 on June 15, while the TUNINDEX20 lost 0.23% to 8,162.2, with telecoms bucking the trend as Cellcom jumped 5.0% according to analyst notes. Losses were led by consumer services at -1.55%, distribution at -1.55% and consumer goods at -0.83%, while building materials outperformed with a 1.37% gain to 830.63. On the corporate front, Sotuver reported a 78% profit jump and proposed a dividend of 0.25 dinar per share, Business News reported. Poulina Group Holding also won approval for a dividend of 0.670 Tunisian dinars per share, according to La Presse de Tunisie, while Telnet Holding SA published its 2025 annual results, Zonebourse Suisse said.
Tunis Stock Exchange — Cellcom Jumps 5% as Telecoms Defy a 0.22% TUNINDEX Slip
Cellcom posted the day’s top gain on the BVMT, rising 5.0% to 2.33 TND even as the TUNINDEX slipped 0.22%. Telecom names held up well, helped by SOTETEL’s 4.5% rise, while lower oil and a stronger dollar versus the dinar created mixed sector effects.
