
TUNINDEX rises 0.25% as Carthage Cement highlights 40.1 mln dinar profit
The TUNINDEX closed up 0.25% at 16,057.76 points on April 30, while the TUNINDEX20 added 0.26% to 7,117.23 in a mixed market. Food and beverages posted a 0.77% gain and insurers rose 0.79%, while industrials fell 0.69% and financial services lost 0.36%, according to market data. Carthage Cement reported a 2025 profit of 40.1 million dinars and is considering a dividend of 0.065 dinar per share, according to Business News and as reported by اكسبراس أف أم. SOTUVER lifted first-quarter 2026 revenue to 28.071 million dinars, according to MSN.

TUNINDEX slips 0.19% as SOTUVER tender offer opens at 13.390 dinars
The TUNINDEX fell 0.19% to 20,118.58 on August 6, while the TUNINDEX20 lost 0.28% to 8,852.03, with financial services down 1.21% leading the decline. Distribution and consumer services capped losses with gains of 1.27% each, while the industrials index dropped 0.66% and building and construction materials slipped 0.48%. On the stock side, Smart Tunisie jumped 6% on August 6, after Wifack International Bank rose 4.4% on August 5, according to market notes. Separately, the mandatory tender offer for SOTUVER at 13.390 dinars opened on August 5 and trading was suspended, reports Tustex, after Webmanagercenter said the deal organizes joint control between B.A Glass and the Bayahi group. Webmanagercenter added that SOTUVER’s H1 2026 results were reshaped by a 143% rise in the local olive oil market.
