EGX 30 rises 0.57% as Telecom Egypt declares EGP 1.5 dividend
The EGX 30 closed up 0.5685% at 52,719.1 on April 27, with the session shaped by a string of corporate announcements. Telecom Egypt declared a full-year cash dividend of EGP 1.5 per share, according to TradingView and a market filing dated April 27. Korra Energi plans to float an 11% stake on the EGX, according to ZAWYA, while EFG Hermes completed a second Valu share sale through an accelerated bookbuild, ZAWYA reported. On the project front, Talaat Moustafa Group launched a $27 billion project in Cairo, while Abu Qir Fertilizers, AlexFert, Orascom Construction, UEG and Valmore signed an MoU for a 500 MW green hydrogen hub in Alexandria, according to SolarQuarter.
