Sotuver: Local Market Boosts Revenues to 66.2 MDT in First Half 2026

TUNINDEX slips 0.34%, Sotuver lifted by 7.9 mln dinars in insurance payouts

Tunisia’s TUNINDEX fell 0.34% to 18,604.24 on Oct. 9, while the TUNINDEX20 lost 0.43% to 8,139.41, with banks down 0.7% at 13,963.72. The decline was partly offset by distribution, up 1.91% to 11,308.14, and consumer services, also up 1.91% to 7,177.51, according to the Tunis Stock Exchange. On earnings, Sotuver reported first-half profit of 7.9 million dinars, supported by insurance compensation, while its operating profitability eroded, according to Tustex and African Manager. Household and personal care products rose 1.06% to 3,254.6, while food and beverages slipped 0.29% to 18,425.65.
