
BRVM rises 0.69%, led by industrials at 1.91% and financials at 1.04%

On the corporate side, Financial Afrik said Ecobank Transnational Incorporated cut its board to 12 members from 15 and removed directors' term limits, while Sika Finance reported SITAB posted stable first-half 2026 profit of 18 billion CFA francs.
