
NSE targets 2026 launch for East Africa’s first AI-focused ETF
The NSE plans to launch East Africa’s first AI-focused ETF in 2026, giving Kenyan investors access to global technology stocks, according to Reuters and Business Today Kenya. The move comes with the NSE 25 at 4,197.02 on Aug. 10, with a displayed change of 38.5155%. Separately, NCBA Group posted a rise in profit after tax, according to NewVision.co.ug, adding support for the banking segment. On Aug. 10, the bourse also appointed Sterling Capital as a market maker in the NEXT Derivatives Market and admitted Fintrust Securities as an Authorized Securities Dealer in fixed income, according to NSE releases.
