EGX 30 slips 0.19% as Cleopatra sees 31% Q2 revenue growth

Cleopatra Hospital said it expects 31% year-on-year revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026, according to TradingView. Elsewedy Electric drew attention after a joint venture secured a $2.2 billion EPC contract for the Rabigh 2 IPP expansion in Saudi Arabia, according to IndexBox and Business Insider Africa. Abu Qir Fertilizers reported 86% growth, while Orascom Construction rose 3% on EGP 431.6 million in turnover, according to ad-hoc-news.de and an October 14 analyst note. Emirates NBD Egypt also signed a distribution agreement with EFG Hermes covering 2 equity funds, Arab Finance reported, while Cleopatra Hospital's capital increased to EGP 733.9 million and 5 analysts maintained Outperform ratings, according to ad-hoc-news.de.
